The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

M.D. O'Callaghan, trainer of Quinta Girl (off feed ) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Dylan Brown McMonagle replaced D.P. McDonogh on Seven Nation Army (GER), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien (Race 3)(intended mount a non runner)
D S O' Sullivan rode Mercurial (reserve) trained by John J.Nallen (Race 5)
S Foley replaced N.M. Crosse on Possum, trained by Mrs John Harrington (Race 6)(intended mount a non runner)

241A QuinnBet App'tice Optional Claiming Race

Ian Patrick Donoghue, trainer of Bucaneer's Spirit, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge had blood at both nostrils post race. This was confirmed by an IHRB Veterinary Officer.

241C Irish EBF Auction Series Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sword Of State, trained by Brendan W.Duke, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have lost a hind shoe but to be otherwise post race normal.

R.M Mulligan, rider of Oristown Boy, trained by Joseph Anthony Murray, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left up the home straight.

241D SIS Supporting Irish Racing (F) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Almeiyda, ridden by C.D. Hayes, and Divine Legend, ridden by B.M. Coen, where it appeared Almeiyda had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C. D Hayes stated that he took a precautionary check as Divine Legend raced by him but that the animal was clear of him. B. M. Coen stated that as he quickened by Almeiyda, his mount leaned in, but he felt he was clear at the time. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Almeiyda, trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal was struck into on its off fore front.

241E WTW Willis H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident close to the winning line involving Dragon Of Malta, ridden by J. Pietropaolo, Mehman (GB), ridden by G.M. Ryan, and Contrary To Law, ridden by B.M. Coen, where it became tight on the inside. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. G.M. Ryan stated that he kept his line on the railing and things got tight. J. Pietropaolo stated that he felt there was a gap for his mount and on filling it, things became tight. B. M. Coen stated that he was aware of one horse on his inside and when another appeared, he did his best to leave room for it. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

W.J. Lee, rider of Cool Azul, trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was very keen in the back straight.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Spodo Komodo (GB), trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was restless in the stalls.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed where Mercurial, ridden by D.S O' Sullivan had to sit for a stride in the home straight. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted. .

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from M.D. O'Callaghan, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Sagasti, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. M.D. O'Callaghan stated that his charge missed the break the last day at Galway and never got into position thereafter. Having considered the report, Raceday Stewards noted its content.

241F District Speciality Coffee M'dn

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving the stalls involving My Girl Jersie, ridden by R. Whearty, and Possum, ridden by S Foley, where My Girl Jersie caught a heel. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R Whearty, stated that his mount was keen and ran onto a heel. S Foley stated that his mount was running green and moved slightly, but felt he had not caused the incident. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident after leaving the stalls involving Magnum Cor, ridden by D. Browne McMonagle, Swing Street (GB), ridden by W.J. Lee, and My Girl Jersie, ridden by R. Whearty, where it appeared My Girl Jersie got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R Whearty stated that his mount got lit up as he was trying to get cover. D. Brown McMonagle stated that he was clear at the time of the incident. W. J. Lee stated that he moved forward and was clear of all the horses on his inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the incident was caused by My Girl Jersie running free and they took no further action.

S Foley, rider of Possum, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran green.
